Godly Hearts Home Healthcare Agency is Hiring a Private Duty Nurse Near Spring, TX

Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality and compassionate patient care in a private home setting
- Administer medications, including injections, as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and assess patient's condition and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or other cognitive impairments
- Perform catheterization and other necessary medical procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record systems like Athenahealth
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on proper self-care techniques and disease management

Qualifications:
- Valid nursing license in the state of [Location]
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in private duty nursing or a related field
- Strong knowledge and experience in administering injections and performing medical procedures
- Experience in providing specialized care for patients with dementia or cognitive impairments
- Familiarity with coding and documentation practices in home care settings
- Knowledge of Vents, catherization, and G-button
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
